Modern audiovisual solutions make increased use of high-speed networks to transport audio and video streams, which necessitates reliable methods to synchronise a large number of devices.
nanosyncs n3 can act as a (g)PTP Grandmaster which distributes its reference or as a boundary clock. PTP Follower count is effectively unlimited, with 1G Ethernet bandwidth allowing ~300,000 requests per second. Like previous nanosyncs models, the DDS synthesizers generate ultra-low jitter reference clocks for highest audio quality.
The network time is always phase-locked to the Video Sync, Wordclock and Timecode output signals and reference inputs, for distributed setups at any frame/sample rates.
